A 3 yard run by Schumacher and a 9 yard keeper by Quintal set up first and goal at the 8. After a loss of 1, Levi Gehring took a pitch to the left and scored the game’s first touchdown. The 2-point try failed leaving Prairie with a 6-0 lead.
Lapwai started their drive at their own 36. They were facing a third and 1 when an illegal motion penalty set them back 5 yards. On fourth and 3 at the 43, Lapwai quarterback Jereese McCormack fumbled behind the line of scrimmage and Schumacher recovered at the Lapwai 34.
On the next play Quintal passed to Schumacher out to the left and Schumacher went 34 yards for a touchdown. Marshall Weber ran in the 2-pointer to make it 14-0.

Schumacher carried the ball 24 yards around left end to set up first and goal at the 5. Weber ran twice for 2 yards each to move the ball to the 1. Quintal then scored on a quarterback sneak. Quintal passed to McElroy for the 2-pointer to make it 44-0.
Lapwai fumbled the ball away on the ensuing kickoff and McElroy recovered again, this time at the Lapwai 32.
Prairie stuck to the running game and had to overcome an illegal blocking penalty of 10 yards that nullified a 15 yard touchdown by Gehring. The block was made at the 3 and moved Prairie back to the 13. After a 3 yard loss, Weber picked up 11 on a run to the left. Schumacher then scored from the 5 on the next play. Quintal passed to Gehring for the 2-pointer to make it 52-0 with 48 seconds left in the half.
