Back to School Bash is held
On September 24th, the Annual Back to School Bash was held at St Mary’s Church. We had a wonderful turnout of students and families who joined in on the food and activities. I would like to thank my adults who volunteered to be my extra hands and eyes during this event. Thank you to Molly Terhaar, Mattie Lustig, Christine Garcia, Adam and Tiffany Forsmann, and our cook, Ryan Uhlenkott (and anyone else I may have forgotten). I would not be able to pull these events off without the help of parents and community members. This year, kids had the opportunity to try a new game called Gaga Ball, which seemed to be a huge hit. Others played cornhole, visited with friends, and hung out by the fire pit. We served over 100 people hamburgers, hot dogs, pop, and s'mores. We also had a fierce egg toss competition, with Cooper Riener and Payton Stamper being victorious. It was a great night for the students and families to get together and share food, fellowship, and fun. I hope we all continue to have a great school year and remember that everything we do is for the Glory of God! ![]() The egg toss competition at the Back to School Bash. ![]() Payton Stamper and Cooper Riener were the egg toss champions. ![]() Youth plaing gaga ball. ![]() A cornhole tournament was held. ![]() Youth relaxing around the fire in the evening.
