Runners compete at Genesee meet
Koyle Jones earned a third place medal at the final regular season
cross country meet of the season at the Cow Creek Invite at Genesee
Wednesday, Oct. 14.

Schmidt were Prairie's only competitors at the meet as the others were
healing up from injuries in preparation for District.Jones had a time of 19:40.1 to lead Prairie to a third place finish as a team out of 6 teams attending with 84 points. Matthew Jones finished 14th in 21:11.0 while Kade Hansen was 22nd in 22:47.6, Gabe DeCaria was 33rd in 24:56.7 and Aiden DeLorenze was 44th in 28:35.7. Only 3 members of the girls team competed at the meet with Zita Schmidt taking 7th in 27:45.7. Gloria Terhaar was right behind in 8th at 27:51.6. Lillianne Lustig was 12th in 29:11.8. The team will now compete at the District meet which is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 21 at the LCSC course near Lewiston High School. The girls race is set to start at 3:45 p.m. followed by the boys race at 4:30 p.m.   Koyle Jones runs past a vintage pickup on his way to a third place finish.   Matthew Jones and Kade Hansen.
