Pirates to play Valley at 1 p.m. Friday The Prairie football team will host the Valley Vikings Friday at 1 p.m. in a first round state playoff game. Prairie wound up ranked #3 among teams not winning their league titles while Valley was #6. In other first round games Kamiah hosts Glenns Feryy, Logos hosts Oakley and Hagerman hosts Potlatch. Kendrick, Grace, Notus and Raft River received first round byes as league champions. After this weekend’s games, teams will be reseeded for the second round. Prairie would most likely have to travel to Grace if they win.  | COTTONWOOD
