Pirates to play Grace at Pocatello The
Prairie football team defeated Valley 50-44 in the opening round of the
2A State Football Playoffs last Friday at Cottonwood and will now move
on to the quarterfinals. They will be making the long trip to Pocatello this week to play District 5-6 champion Grace at the ICCU Dome on Friday, Nov. 7, at 8:15 MST, 7:15 our time in the second game of a doubleheader. Tickets will need to be ordered ahead of time at idhsaa.org as no tickets will be sold at the gate. Grace is 8-1 on the season with their only loss coming to Adrian High School in Oregon. The only common opponent for the two teams is C.V. Grace won 62-8 against the Rams while Prairie defeated the Rams 56-6. Prairie last played Grace in last year’s state playoffs where they lost to the Grizzlies 38-48 at Cottonwood.  This is the updated 2A bracket showing this week's games. |
