Photos from the Prairie Veterans Day program  Clancy Slichter was the featured guest speaker.  The color guard brings in the flags.  VFW Post 4902 Commander David Frei gave the invocation and talked about the VFW's programs and their education competitions.  Landon Jones was the VFW's Patriots Pen 1st place winner and read his winning entry.    Providing music for the assembly were the Jr./Sr. High School band and each grade of Prairie Elementary students. They were all under the direction of Isabella Baldwin.  PHS student body officers Max Rehder and Halee Rowland read off the names, service branch, and years of service of each veteran in attendance.  Tori DeCaria read a tribute to Jed Fitch, last year's guest speaker, written by his son Phineas. Jed recently passed away from cancer. | COTTONWOOD
