Hospital again sponsors Angel Tree
For the 29th year, through generous
donations from our community members, St Mary’s Health Foundation is
sponsoring the Christmas “Angel Tree” which helps match generous donors
with those in need of gifts and/or warm clothes for children newborn
through 12th grade. Individuals in need are encouraged to call Kristi Holthaus, one of the project coordinators, at 208-962-2331. She will confidentially record the child’s name, age, gender, clothing sizes and gift requests. All requests must be made by November 25th. All requested gifts and food baskets (if needed from the food bank) will be distributed before Christmas Eve at 423 Main Street, Cottonwood (formerly known as Harman Agency office) next to Weber Photography (formerly known as Schlader Photography). In conjunction, the Cottonwood Food Bank volunteers prepare food boxes for “Angel Tree” families as well as elderly residents in the community. Requests for food boxes should be directed to Kristi Holthaus at 208-962-2331. The holidays can be difficult when there is financial strain, and we want to do our part in easing those burdens through the Angel Tree. Our community has always been very generous, and we appreciate the opportunity to facilitate happier holidays for our neighbors. Those willing to help can send a financial contribution to “Angel Tree Project,” c/o St. Mary’s Hospital, PO Box 137, Cottonwood, ID 83522. |
