Larry Kidd elected as Chamber president
At the regular meeting of the Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce Thursday, Dec. 9, Larry Kidd was elected president of the Chamber. He was vice-president during 2004.
Lynn Guyer, warden at NICI, was elected vice president, Tara Ross with the Credit Union was elected secretary and Dar Forsmann with Wells Fargo was elected Treasurer.
Check with Dar for Chamber Bucks to give during the Holidays. The Bucks can be spent at businesses in Cottonwood.
More details were discussed about the Parade Dec. 19 and the Open House to follow.
Everyone is invited to be in the parade or to watch. Lighted items can be cars, wagons, 4-wheelers and bicycles or individuals. As the Parade will after dark, lights of some kind will be needed. To line up at 4:30 p.m. at go at 5:00 p.m. 
Invitations will be extended to high school band members and to veterans to march and/or form a color guard.
The Community hall will be open for a supper served by the boys basketball members and members of the dance team will have a dessert table for dessert with supper or to but extra cookies or cake to take home.
The Chamber will provide hot Coffee and Cider to keep you warm. The beverage is free.
Santa Claus is to put in an appearance and bags of candy and fruit will be given. So, parents bring your camera for pictures with Santa.
The next meeting is Thursday, Jan. 13 at 8 a.m. at Coffee Mill Creations.
The meeting to setup a calendar for 2005.
