Notes from Pat
Merry Christmas to each of you from Greg, Steve, grandsons, Mike and Chris, and from me. May your Christmas be truly merry.
The Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce gave a party Sunday, Dec. 19 and everyone came. There were 11 parade entries and over 200 people had supper with the boy’s basketball team. The girl’s dance team seen to have sold out their dessert table.
Santa Claus talked with boys and girls and gift bags of fruit and candy were given out.
It is suggested we do this again but first a few thank yours to Deb Clark, Shelli Schumacher, the Lion’s Club for the Money for the Candy, to everyone who had a parade entry and thank you to those who helped get the production on the road.
As of Monday, Dec. 20, in the afternoon we have no snow and the weatherman is not too helpful that any will come before Christmas. This may be my first non-white Christmas since I moved to Cottonwood in august 1975.
Sometime a little old fashioned Christmas goes a long way with a little simple togetherness.
May your stocking be filled with joy at this special time of the year.
