Ministry update for February
There are many activities to choose from during this month for the area youth. Feb. 16th high school students are needed for “bowl painting”. Please meet at the Jr. High Peace building 7:00 p.m. They will be painting bowls to sell at a future soup supper. The money raised will help provide transportation for teens to ICYC (Idaho Catholic Youth Conference) in Pocatello the first weekend in April. Beginning Feb, 13 at St. Mary’s Church; and after several of the upcoming Masses the teens will be selling beautiful imported handmade Italian & Mexican rosaries, Catholic medals, and other Christian jewelry. This would be the perfect time to purchase a special gift for an upcoming Confirmation or First Communion child. All proceeds are to help defray cost of Youth Ministry needs. Feb. 18 Correction noted here. Everyone should gather for the Church stations. Following that there will be a Jr. High Prayer Session at the Jr. High Peace Building. Feb. 20 as always, the 3rd Sunday of the Month, is “Spirit Sunday”. Come find out what it is all about! Feb. 25: Watch for upcoming details regarding a teen activity night. |
