Making bags for Iraqi children
St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cottonwood is looking for interested individuals to make cloth bags for children in Iraq.
The bags will be shipped to Idaho National Guardsmen to be given to kids along with school supplies.    The design of the bags is very flexible.  They need to be able to hold 81/2 x 11 inch paper so 10x12 or bigger would be a good size.  Straps or handles would be a nice option; velcro or some other closure would be fine but not required.  This would be a good project for people who have lots of unused material lying around.
Bags can be dropped off at Archie's cleaners in Cottonwood.  The bags must be received by Monday, March 28.  Call Loretta and Glenn Poxleitner at 962-5937 with questions.
