technology students win at state
Taylor Rieman, Carson Heath, and Chris Schnider attended the Idaho Technology Student Association Convention this past weekend in Twin Falls at the College of Southern Idaho. Taylor and Carson won 1st place in Manufacturing with their Card Deck Holder and Cribbage Board, Chris won 2nd place in Design Car, and Carson won 3rd place with his Safety Poster.
Carson also entered the Structural Engineering and Technology Problem Solving events. Taylor entered the Dragster Design, Structural Engineering, and Technology Problem Solving in addition to the Manufacturing. Besides the Design Car event, Chris also participated in Structural Engineering and Technology Problem Solving.
By placing at the state level, they now have the opportunity to attend the National tSA Convention in Chicago this summer
The boys will be doing a variety of things to help raise money so they may attend the convention. The storage shed at the high school is still for sale and when sold, some of those proceeds will be used toward their expenses.
The boys worked diligently in all their events, and represented our school and community with pride. Congratulations, for a job well done, Taylor, Carson, and Chris!
