winners are announced
The Prairie High School Technology Student Association (TSA) spent the last few months of school selling raffle tickets and raising money for the national convention to be held in Chicago, June 27-July 3. Through the help of generous donations, the students were able to raise enough money to cover airfare and other trip expenses. The TSA students and their parents, and instructor Jerry Richardson, would like to extend a sincere thanks to all who donated prizes, all who purchased raffle tickets, and all the students who supported the Mt. Dew drawings. In addition, we would like to thank those baseball fans who purchased concessions at games. We sincerely appreciated all the support. The following people donated and won raffle prizes. Dennis Baldus donated six 2-for-1 dinners from the Halfway Club. The winners included Debbie Chicane, Melissa Sonnen, Terrie Dau, Tim Forsmann, Judy Bundy, and Margaret Stewart. Don Bieker won the afghan crocheted by Judy Forsman; Barb Morris won the afghan crocheted by Bertie Forsmann; Mille Wimer donated a hand-made doily, which was won by Scotty Brammer; Maurus and Karen Uhlorn donated horseshoe art, which was won by Kelsey Tidwell. Mandi Tidwell won the quilt made by Bertha Kopczynski, and Claudette Hanisch won the quilted lap blanket donated by Barbara O’Brien. Bill and Diana Funke donated a Country Haus gift certificate, won by Margaret Stewart. Don and Theresa Funke donated another Country Haus gift certificate; Sheri Daly was the winner of that. Jerry Richardson donated four handmade wooden gifts; the winners of these were Kati Remacle, Jean Poxleitner, Gary Riener and Kathy Paul. Mick Forsman won the $25 cash prize, and Laurie Karel won the soap collection donated by Darla Whitley. Wayne Schnider donated a hand-made wooden train, and Renee Schamberger was the lucky winner. The raffle was a tremendous success, and we very much appreciated everyone’s support. |
