to Relay for Life event
Hi, my name is Linda Kaschmitter and I would like to extend a special invitation to any and all who are cancer survivors. This invitation is for a dessert reception on Friday July 22, 2005. The place is Grangeville High School Track Field. The time is 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The reason is the American Cancer Society, Clearwater to Salmon Rivers Relay For Life. This event is a community event that brings together all types of people to honor and celebrate with the survivors and their families. The luminaries Ceremony will be at 10:00 pm to respectfully remember our loved ones that have lost their fight with cancer. There will be something for everyone, happening through out the 18-hour event. The Relay for Life is a very important event that takes place all over the country, to help raise money that funds research to someday find a cure. This is the first year for this event for our area and all of the committee members that have worked hard would love to see everyone there. If you have a chance anyone and everyone should come by and at least check it out. If you are wondering the reason why I have extended this special invite to everyone, not only am I the chairperson for the Survivor committee I am also a 17-year cancer survivor. So please join us for “The Party of the Year” in your honor. We have mailed out invitations to those that we had names and address for and we would like to apologize to anyone that was included on the list and that is why I would like to extend this invitation to anyone that is a survivor of any type of cancer.
