| Blankets
for children
The Idaho Farm Bureau Women's Committee is collecting blankets for children in need - in hospitals and shelters. If you have some fabric and some time to make one or two, the Women's Committee will see to getting the finished blankets distributed. We have several months, but any amount would be wonderful to send to them. The project is called Binkie Patrol. It is a volunteer, national nonprofit organization that makes and gives blankets to children in need. The blankets can be any shape, size or pattern, sewn, knitted, crocheted or quilted. The only requirement is that they be soft and washable. When you complete the blankets, call Jeanne Arnzen, 962-3327, so we can send them to the Pocatello office. |
