Notes from Pat
Sun shines Tuesday morning after a rainy weekend.  The rain was needed but not on the Lewis County fair parade Saturday.  It did turn nice for the Sunday fair events.
Thank you to the members of the Cottonwood Lion’s Club, they have completed the replacement of the bike path in the City Park.  This was a big project and covered several years of work and fund raising.
I see where the Prairie Pirates won a homecoming game.  More power to the players and fans.
A new person is now leasing the Bowling Alley and he could use some support.  The machines have been repaired and new parts are being added as needed.  The Wednesday night mixed league could use a fourth team and we bowl at 7 p.m.
The streets down town have been decorated for the season and look real nice.
The next holiday which is a big kid’s event is Halloween.  If you are out during the evening drive carefully and watch out for kids.
The first weekend in November, St. Mary’s Hospital will be celebrating their 75th birthday.  Later this month stories will be in the paper about the first 65 years with a third story telling of the last 10 years and the changes made by the hospital.
All the best to each of you.
Pat
