of Commerce meets
The Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce held their monthly meeting on December 8th at the Coffee Mill. The main item of discussion was the 3rd Annual Lighted Christmas Parade and Spaghetti Dinner. Line up for the Light Parade will begin at 4:40 p.m. across the street from Cash and Carry. The parade is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to come up with a float and join the fun. Immediately following the parade, Santa Claus will be at the Community hall for kids to visit and get candy. The Spaghetti Dinner with Dessert will begin immediately following the parade at the Community Hall. Cost for the dinner will be Adults-$5.00; Children 7-12-$3.50; 6 and Under Free; Family $25.00. The Spaghetti Dinner is a fundraiser for the Prairie Girls’ dance Team & Cheer Squad and the Prairie Boys’ Basketball team. The new officers will be installed at the next meeting to be held January 12th at 8:00 a.m. at the Coffee Mill. |
