TSA students compete at State
Carson Heath, Taylor Rieman, Nick Johnson and Alex Richardson attended the Idaho TSA Convention in Pocatello March 9 - 11th, at the Idaho State University along with 130 other students and advisors.TSA students Carson Heath, Nick Johnson, Taylor Rieman and Alex Richardson stop at Shoshone Falls on their way to the State Convention in Pocatello.
Alex Richardson received a first place medal with her entry in the Safety Poster event, Carson Heath and Taylor Rieman received a third place medal in Manufacturing with a CD case that Thomas Nau had designed.  Carson finished 8th place in the Dragster Design event and Alex and Nick finished 4th place in the Problem Solving event.
Other events the students entered in were: Carson - Safety Poster, Structural Engineering, and Problem Solving; Taylor - Safety Poster, Structural Engineering, Dragster Design, and Problem Solving; Nick - Electronics Custom Design, Electronics Demo, Structural Engineering, and Dragster Design; Alex - Structural Engineering, and Desktop Publishing.
The students had a good time and gained some valuable experiences for life and for the next TSA Convention to be in Couer d' Alene next spring.  They represented our school and community very well, we can be very proud of them.
