Relay For Life event starts Friday
The ACS Clearwater to Salmon Rivers Relay For Life committee would like to invite everyone to attend this year’s 2006 event this Friday and Saturday, July 21-22 at the Grangeville High School Track & Field.  There will be parking available both up at the field and also below at the school.  We will have parking attendants and rides available for those not wanting to walk up to the track.  Survivors and those unable to walk will be able to park right at the track and we will have wheelchairs available also for those who wish to use one.  We would like to invite all survivors to the Survivor Reception from 5-6 pm in which you will receive a light blue survivor t-shirt and we would like to take your picture and have you sign a square for a quilt that will be made in memory of this year’s event.  This Relay For Life event is planned in your honor and we would love to help you celebrate the fact that you are a survivor!  We also want to invite all caregivers to join us and we also have a gift for you.  We really appreciate all you do for us!!  There are many things planned for the entirety of the 18-hour event so make plans to attend.  We will see you there.

American Cancer Society Survivor Reception “The Party of the Year”
Clearwater to Salmon Rivers Relay for Life is Friday evening, July 21, 2006, from 5 to 6 p.m.
For those that have been touched by cancer, there is a special invitation for you to come and be honored by your friends, family, and neighbors as a survivor.
Relay for Life is a community inspired event of gathering together to celebrate with survivors and honor them and to also respectfully remember our loved ones who lost their fight with cancer.
There is something very special about being part of such an event.  You may be the person who will inspire a newly diagnosed patient to not give up and continue the fight to get through their treatments.  Or you may be the person who needs that inspiration that only a survivor can give.
So please consider this your personal invitation to “The Party Of The Year” in your honor.  I am looking forward to meeting you and walking that survivor lap with you.
For more information, please call Linda Kaschmitter, Survivor and Survivor Reception Chairperson, at 208-962-3672.
