Scramble a success
The third annual golf scramble put on by the Prairie Booster Club was a huge success. The booster club raised $1,700 to go into the high-school uniform fund. Ten teams participated this year with a lot of cash and product donations helped to make the event a success.
First place, $300, was awarded to Travis Mader, Todd Nygaard of Kamiah, Ryan Hasselstrom and Rod Forsmann of Kendrick. Second place, $200, was awarded to Steve and Verla Wilson and Dorie and Randy Foster of Lewiston with a score of 67. Third place, $100, was a fight to the finish with a three-way tie. Mark and Jessica Vanderwall and Jeff Adams of Grangeville, Bryan and Becky Higgins and Greg and Lynn Danly of Cottonwood, and The Hangout's team: Ron Schneider, Jesse Vanator, Lew Schneider and Neil Schneider of Boise tied with a score of even par, 70.
Longest drive awards were given to Dorie Foster and Ryan Uhlenkott. The longest putt went to Shane Ratcliff and Kelly Bruner.
