Skiing great despite cold
Wow!  What a great weekend!  Even though the temperatures were a bit chilly we had plenty of people for Sunday and Monday skiing.
We had several inches of new snow to start the weekend off right on Friday night and the sub-zero temperatures made for some fantastic skiing conditions.  The temperature stayed mighty cold all weekend but that didn't stop skiers on Sunday and
Monday.
Hot chocolate and hand warmers were the items of choice this week-end as chilly skiers came into the lodge to warm up.  We have a school day planned for Prairie Middle School on Friday, Jan. 19th.   Highland Schools are planning a day on Monday, Jan. 22 and Prairie High School is planning to come on Wednesday, Jan. 24.  We need volunteers to help us out
so we can provide this service to the students at a reduced rate.  If you can help, please, call Bobbi at 962-7232.
We have 36" of snow at the top and 28" at the base.  We are open Friday night from 6pm to 10pm and Saturday
and Sunday from 10am to 4pm each day.  Make an escape to Cottonwood Butte Ski Area!
