The Cottonwood Gun Club dropped to second place in the second week of shooting in the CPTA ten weeks competition. After a four way tie the first week only Kamiah remains in the lead with a perfect score of 150. Cottonwood’s two week total is 149.4 with Nezperce a close third with 148.98. Forty eight shooters shot Sunday at Cottonwood. The day started with a heavy fog providing a poor background but cleared later. Posting four of the five needed twenty fives were Mike Long, Jack Fischer, John Crea and Rod Behler, one target off the mark with twenty fours were Brad Fischer, Ralph Terhaar, Rod Sheets, Phil Poxleitner, Scott Jungert, Bob Lustig and Paul Gilmore. The junior team scored 65 for a two week total of 129. This puts the junior team in seventh place. Leading the junior shooters this week were Ashley Schaeffer 22.Joe Lustig 22, Mitch Jungert 21.
