High School Wellness Night is Monday
The St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation is sponsoring a Wellness Night at Prairie High School this next Monday evening, February 12, at the boys’ varsity home basketball game.  It will be the fifth high school and final program for this season.  According to Rhonda Wemhoff, SMHC Foundation Trustee, the Wellness Night program will be an annual event aimed at increasing awareness about healthful eating, exercise and lifestyle choices aimed at students and parents.
Foundation representatives also set up a Wellness Booth with free educational materials, gave away free prizes and presented a $100 check to Highland,  Clearwater Valley and Nezperce High Schools.
The three prizes to be awarded next Monday include a large fresh fruit tray to promote healthy eating, an exercise ball and a free aerobic and physical fitness assessment at SMH Physical Therapy Clinic.  Three dozen soft hand exercise balls will also be distributed to audience members.
