District Preschool Screenings Scheduled
A free Well Child Developmental Screening will be provided in September by the Cottonwood School District to all children ages birth to 5 years old. Screening will take place on Thursday, April 26 from 12:30 in the School District Office. Each child’s skills will be checked in the areas of speech and language, motor development, basic concepts, social skills, self help skills, vision and hearing. The children will be asked to participate in play activities which will determine developmental levels. If a weak area is discovered during the screening, a team of school district professionals offers a full developmental assessment. Screening appointments may be made or further information may be obtained through the Cottonwood School District Office at 962-3971. |
