Fair Trade Sale booth to be at Raspberry Festival
Go shopping and change the world at the same time!  The community is invited to shop for fair trade gifts, music instruments, jewelry and more handmade items from artisans and farmers living in developing regions by attending a CRS Fair Trade Sale.  We will have a booth at the Raspberry Festival Arts and Crafts sale on Sunday, August 5th from 10am to 4pm at the Monastery of St. Gertrude in Cottonwood.   With each purchase, you help artisans maintain steady work and provide education and healthcare for their families.
Our sale is sponsored by St. Mary's Catholic Church in partnership with Catholic Relief Services and A Greater Gift, a nonprofit program of the almost 60-year-old SERRV International, which works in 35 countries to enable artisans and farmers to gain access to markets and maintain a sustainable income.
If you have any questions about our Fair Trade sale, contact Loretta Poxleitner at 962-5937.  For more information about hosting your own fair trade sale, go to www.crsfairtrade.org.  Come and browse through all the beautiful and affordable handmade items we have available this year.  We look forward to seeing you at the Raspberry Festival!
