A spinning presentation and crochet circle is planned for Tuesday, Sept. 18, 4:00 pm at the Winchester Library. Presenter and Winchester resident, Vivian Burns will demonstrate and explain the finer art of spinning yarns.  Vivian
will be bringing her wheel and different types of wools to show and explain
the intricate details behind this very old fiber arts technique.
Spinning is becoming a lost art so take this opportunity to come observe
it in living color.
Also bring your needles, yarns and projects and learn how to hook from the best. Crotchetier extraordinaire, Jan Grueter will instruct any and all, beginners or advanced, in the fun and relaxing activity of crochet. |
