Frei is promoted
Sterling Savings Bank has promoted Melvin Frei to assistant vice president of the bank. Mel has worked as a commercial banker at Sterling’s Lewiston Orchards branch, located at 444 Thain Road, since June. 
Mel has more than 15 years of experience in commercial and agricultural lending. In addition, he has held senior management-level positions in the manufacturing, retail and financial-service industries. Mel holds a bachelor’s degree in business and economics. He is an active member of the community, volunteering with the United Way and Salvation Army soup kitchen. He is involved with the North Idaho Manufacturer’s Association, is president of St. Stan’s School Foundation Board, and serves on Sterling’s promotion committee for LCSC sports. Frei grew up in Ferdinand. |
