Schools Set Dates for Assessment
Once again we look forward to parent(s)/guardian cooperation regarding the annual school wide testing program. The Idaho Reading Indicator (IRI) and the Idaho Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) are scheduled for September/October. The Idaho Reading Indicator will be administered to all Kindergarten through third grade students on September 18th and 19th. The ISAT will be administered to third and fourth graders September 24th through October 12th. While we do not feel that students should become overly anxious about this testing, we do believe they should be made aware of the impact of the testing on their academic programs. Your cooperation in this matter, including seeing to it that your child is rested, and is present in school during this time, would be most appreciated. Also, please try to avoid scheduling medical/dental appointments during this testing window. Thank you for continuing to ensure a smooth functioning testing administration.
