Mystery Night a huge success
Mystery Night 2007 was a huge success thanks to all those who came to support Summit Academy’s main fundraiser!  This jungle safari led many people into the depths of the jungle, skillfully created by talented individuals who understood the necessity of having an authentic jungle atmosphere in which guests could hunt for the elusive grand prize of ten thousand dollars.
The prizes from “a walk on the wild side” mystery night jungle excursion were revealed Saturday, September 22, 2007 at the Greekcreek Community Hall.  As the evening progresses, the suspense built as slowly but surely names were eliminated from being a part of the prestigious ranks of the top ten finalists.  However, as the night drew near its end, the finalists were announced along with their prizes.
Placing tenth was Mr. Jake Wren, who received two movie passes to the Blue Fox Theatre, and dinner for two at Palenques Restaurant.  Ninth place winner, Chad Hutchinson, won a fifty-dollar gift certificate at Hahn Rental.  Stephen Goeckner took home the eighth place prize of a fifty-dollar gift certificate to be used at A-1 Flowers and More in beautiful downtown Cottonwood.  Squeaking in seventh came Kevin and Kathy Rehder, who won a fifty-dollar gift certificate to Ernie’s Steakhouse.  Sixth place winners were Allen and Debbie Krick, they won a home music system donated by Pete and Leah Prigge.  Making the top five, was Laura Lockett, who won a hundred dollars.  Greg Wren received two hundred dollars.  Ron Rehder, the third place winner, took home a fabulous memory from the evening as well as three hundred dollars.  Second place went to Felix and Sherry Nuxoll, who won four hundred dollars.  And the grand prize winner was Pat Gehring, who won ten thousand dollars to be used at any of these superb local businesses:  Hoene Hardware, Tackett’s Saw Service, Gem Builders, Bettie’s Floors and Décor, Map Travel Company, Krueger’s RV, or Lindsley’s Home Furnishings.  Thank you again to these major sponsors for helping to support this event; we appreciate everything you do.  We look forward to creating the mystery again in 2008.  Hope to see you there!
