Chili Cook Off
On Jan. 12th the Team for Africa will be hosting seven of our local businesses as they compete for the title “Business Chili Cook-Off Winner 2008.” Each of these businesses will have their chili available for tasting from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The participating members are, Cash and Carry, Royal Room, Coffee Mill, Seubert Insurance, Liquor Store, Country Haus and St. Mary’s Church. The Team for Africa is selling bracelets for $10.00, which will be your ticket to taste the chili. You may also pre-purchase them at St. Mary’s church office, at Lauretta Poxleitner’s office, or by calling Debbie at 962-7761. Bracelets will also be available at the businesses on the day of the contest. After tasting all the chili you will vote at Lauretta Poxleinter’s office for the 2008 winner.
