Well another weekend has come and gone. Rumor has it that Friday night was some of the best skiing of the season.  This
weekend will be an extended weekend with the observance of Martin King
Luther Jr. day on Monday the 21st. The hill will be open 10 – 4 on
Monday as well as our regular Friday night, Saturday and Sunday times.
If you want to make it for the entire day of skiing, but are feeling a
little rushed in the morning don’t fret, Cottonwood Butte Ski Area serves
breakfast. As you are putting on your snow pants and boots order
up some biscuits and gravy to energize you for the slopes. If you
put in a full morning take a break at lunch for some good conversation
and homemade soup or have the grill fix you up with a bacon burger and
add some grilled onions for good measure. If you mention this article
we will give you a small pop to go with that burger.
