Day celebration set for Feb. 16
The Idaho County Republican Central Committee met on January 15 at the Super 8 meeting room. Skip Brandt informed the group that filing dates for candidates for the primary election are March 10 thru March 21. Lincoln Day Celebration is coming up February 16, at the Ferdinand Gym. We are co-sponsoring this event with Lewis County Republican Central Committee. A barbequed beef luncheon will be served at 12:00 noon for $15.00 per plate. State and local politicians will be there to meet with the public. This is a good opportunity for anyone wishing to ask questions of them. James Rockwell will be the Master of Ceremonies. There will be an auction and all committee members are asked to get donations from businesses or individuals in your area. Baked goods (which sold very good last year,) as well as any other donations would be greatly appreciated. Contact Marge Arnzen with auction items. Tickets may be purchased at Crafting Keepsakes in Grangeville or by contacting any precinct committeeman. The next meeting will be February 19, 2008 at the Super 8 meeting room at 7:00pm. |
