launch new website design
If you want to know something about St. Mary’s Hospital & Clinics in Cottonwood or Clearwater Valley Hospital & Clinics in Orofino, a wide range of information is a few clicks away on their newly designed hospital website, www.smh-cvhc.org 
The interactive website provides details about each hospital, including a description of the twenty two health care providers, visiting specialists, clinic locations and hours, inpatient and outpatient services, a calendar of events, links to health information sites, current news articles and a new nursery net feature that showcases the hospitals’ newborns. The website also provides information about the latest plans to improve services across the county, updated patient satisfaction survey results and what is being done to improve these scores. There is also a link to www.medlineplus.gov a reliable search engine that allows the user to access health information from other sites approved by the National Library of Medicine. Stephanie Deyo, SMHC/CVHC Foundation Marketing Assistant, serves as the hospitals’ webmaster. “"The World -Wide Web is increasingly where people look for information and we have set out to make this the most informative, easily accessed, and useful informational tool possible,” said Deyo. “Using websites is no longer restricted to the young, with people of all ages and backgrounds looking to the web as a quick and comprehensive reference tool. We think users will be delighted with what they see and we hope they will use the site to give us feedback ,”said Deyo. "By sharing as much information as possible, particularly information important to patients and related news we hope to generate as much interest as possible in the work of our hospital and clinics. After all, they play such a big part in so many of our lives, the more understanding we can achieve the better.” The website, www.smh-cvhc.org, is designed to provide quick and easy links to navigate within the site. |
