District Preschool Screenings Scheduled
A free Well Child Developmental Screening will be provided in April by the Cottonwood School District to all children ages birth to 5 years old. Screening will take place on Thursday, April 17 from Noon to 3:00 in the School District Office. Each child’s skills will be checked in the areas of speech and language, motor development, basic concepts, social skills, self-help skills, vision and hearing. The children will be asked to participate in play activities which will determine developmental levels. If a weak area is discovered during the screening, a team of school district professionals offers a full developmental assessment. Screening appointments may be made or further information may be obtained through the Cottonwood School District Office at 962-3971.
