Raspberry Festival Offers Opportunity for Arts and Crafts Vendors
It’s not too late to get your applications in for the Raspberry Festival Arts & Crafts Fair. This year’s Festival will be Sunday, August 3, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Deadline for applications is Friday, July 25.
“We have spaces for up to 40 booths and encourage area artisans and crafters to apply,” said Lyle Wirtanen, director of the Historical Museum at St. Gertrude.
Booths are set up on grounds of the Monastery of St. Gertrude in Cottonwood, ID. “This is a unique setting for an event such as this,” continued Wirtanen. “The monastery grounds are a beautiful background for the 2,200 Raspberry Festival attendees who might be shopping for handmade crafts and gifts.”
Each 10x10 space is $30. For information contact Judy Snyder, raspfest07@yahoo.com or (208) 962-5053.
The Raspberry Festival is an annual fundraiser for the Historical Museum at St. Gertrude and attracts more than 2,000 attendees each year. This year’s family-focused, fun-filled day features live music, cultural and hand-crafting demonstrations, 10K Fun Run, raspberry shortcake, beef sandwiches, raspberry jam, a 7 game Children’s Carnival, a quilt show, a Show ‘n Shine, book sales, Chapel tours and more.
