replacing banners
The Prairie Booster Club has dived into another project. We are currently working on replacing all the state team banners hanging in the high school gym. The new banners will include the event, the team members' names, the coaches and the year. We are also putting together new banners to include other state champions that do not have a banner displayed, such as track and field, wrestling and HOSA. These banners will not represent state championships. Instead, they will have the sport/event written across the top with names of individual/group champions, the event and the year listed below until the banner is full. All the banners will be four feet wide and six feet long and feature black backgrounds with white lettering. At the bottom of each banner the name or logo sponsoring will be printed. For $125.00, a business name or group can be displayed in the high school gym forever! If you did not receive information in the mail and you are interested in sponsoring a banner, please contact Loretta Riener at 962-5938. In addition Prairie Booster Club is gathering information concerning the names of athletes and coaches for the state championship banners. We are also needing information concerning individual state champions, such as HOSA, Track and Field, Wrestling, TSA and Knowledge Bowl.
