Upcoming activities in the Cottonwood area for August include Movies on
the Wall – August 1st. The movie is Ratatouille and will be
shown at City Park. Showtime is at 9:00 p.m. – This is a BYOC
(bring your own chair or blanket) and is sponsored by the Prairie Horizons
action teams. It is a Donations Only event and all proceeds
will benefit the Cottonwood Community Hall renovation project. Concessions
will be available. Another movie is planned for August 15th.

Register now for the Prairie Horizons 1st annual Dutch Oven Cook-Off
to be held during the Idaho County Fair on Saturday, August 23rd in the
Cottonwood City Park. The event is 9:30-230 p.m. Registration
deadline is August 10, 2008. Prizes will be awarded to the Best Dish
and a Taster’s Choice in each category including Main dish, side dish,
bread and dessert. The entry fee is $20 per team (2 people maximum)
per category. Each team may enter in just one category or all four.
Tasting will be available to Fair-goers beginning at 12:30 PM. For
