The Prairie Horizons Action Teams want to thank all of you who attended
the first “Movies on the Wall,” last Friday night. Those who attended
enjoyed the movie, “Ratatouille.” Another “Movies on the Wall” is
scheduled for Friday, August 15th in City Park and will begin at 9:00 PM.
The movie will be “Spiderwick Chronicles.” This is a family fantasy
adventure. We will have concessions for sale and as we did for the
last one donations for the movie will be accepted. All proceeds will
be given to the renovation of the Community Hall Project.
Only a few days left to register for the Prairie Horizons 1st annual
Dutch Oven Cook-Off to be held during the Idaho County Fair on Saturday,
August 23rd in the Cottonwood City Park. The event is 9:30 a.m. –
2:30 p.m. Registration deadline is August 10, 2008. Prizes
will be awarded to the Best Dish and a Taster’s Choice in each category
including Main dish, side dish, bread and dessert. The entry fee
is $20 per team (2 people maximum) per category. Each team may enter
in just one category or all four. Tasting will be available to Fair-goers
beginning at 12:30 PM. For more information, contact Barb Michels
