Clearing up some confusion
There has been some confusion on the sports physical forms that the students need in order to participate in sports.  Any student who had their sports physical completed at St. Mary’s Clinic does not need to stop by the clinic to pick up the completed form.  These forms have all been sent to the schools and they will then be distributed to the coaches.

Kamiah Physical Therapy to sponsor Fun Run
In conjunction with the city’s annual Barbecue Days, Kamiah Physical Therapy will sponsor a 5K fun run, walk and roll on Saturday, August 30th.  The event will begin with registration at 7:30 a.m.with an 8:00 a.m. start from the PT clinic on Fourth and Hill Street in Kamiah.
“Our goal is to encourage physical fitness for people of all ages,” said Chris Roach, PT.  “None of us want to raise couch potatoes so we need to go the extra step of setting a good example for our friends and family members.  It’s a myth that you have to exercise every day for it to make a difference.  Every little bit counts.  Our event will help motivate people to start their day with a bit of fun and fitness.”
The 3.2 mile course will wend its way to the airport and back.  Prizes will be awarded to first place finishers in both the adult and the children’s divisions.
The $13 registration fee includes a T-shirt and a bag of goodies.  Pre registration is preferred, but not necessary.  To pre register or for more information call, Kamiah Physical Therapy Clinic, 935-0367.  KPT is administered by St. Mary’s Hospital and Clinics, Cottonwood.
