Mass set for Feb. 13
Haven’t yet made your plans for Valentine’s Day this year? It’s not too late to make reservations to enjoy the Sweetheart Mass and Dinner Reception, though time is running out. For planning purposes, we need the closest possible meal-count by this Friday, February 6th. The event will take place on Friday, February 13th. The Sweetheart Mass begins at 6:30 pm at Assumption Church in Ferdinand, where the Sacrament of Marriage will be honored in a special way. Dinner and dancing will take place immediately following at Assumption Parish Hall. The delicious meal will consist of your choice of chicken or beef with all the trimmings, champagne, and cake. The remainder of the evening can be spent visiting with friends, dancing, or just enjoying you spouse’s company. The evening is a gift to be shared between husband and wife and is not a fundraiser. However, if couples wish, they may donate to cover the cost of their meal. So why not invite some friends to join in the fun and make a date to celebrate Valentine’s?
