Spirit Center at the Monastery of St. Gertrude in Cottonwood will offer three Lenten retreats: “Stations in 2009”, February 27-March 1; “Repent: the Challenge to Change”, March 13 – 15; and “All at the Table in God’s House”, March 27 – 29. Each retreat starts at 7:30 p.m. on Friday evening and concludes at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Meg Sass, OSB will lead the retreat, “Stations in 2009”, providing a contemplative reflection on the prayer of the Stations of the Cross for today. Barbara Jean Glodowski, OSB will guide the “Repent: the Challenge to Change” retreat, where participants will learn skills to say yes to embracing change. “All at the Table in God’s House” will be led by Mary Kay Henry, OSB and will focus on joining together to find God and community at the tables of The Word, worship, and healing.
