Fraud Awareness Week is May 4-8 and in conjunction with that the Better Business Bureau is facilitating a couple of free seminars, one of which is at Grangeville. The Grangeville seminar is set for Monday, May 4 at the Senior Center, 108 Truck Route, and will run from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. There will be a second seminar offered at Lewiston the Lewiston Community Center, 1424 Main St. on Tuesday, May 5 from 9 to 11 a.m. Fraud increases in poor economic climates. The seminar will help you learn how to protect yourself from identity theft and scams aimed at senior citizens and how to decide who to trust. |
