for Life cookbook planned
St. Mary’s Hospital and Clinics are preparing a cookbook as a fundraiser for Relay for Life. They would appreciate your sharing items for inclusion in one or more of the following categories: Appetizers, Beverages, Soups & Salads, Vegetables and Side Dishes, Main Dishes, Breads & Rolls, Desserts, Cookies & Candy and This & That. Send in your recipes by August 1, so they can do the necessary typing and have it ready for the publisher by Labor Day. That should enable them to get the books back and ready for purchase as holiday gifts. Your name will be attached to the recipe in the book unless you request to remain anonymous. If you know any cancer survivors who wish to contribute, they’d be delighted to have them, and, too, recipes shared in memory of a cancer victim would make touching contributions to the overall theme of the book, which of course, is to raise funds to fight cancer.
