Lockett to be honored
The Idaho County Sheriff’s Department and Cottonwood Police Department are planning a special ceremony this Thursday, July 16 at 3 p.m. to honor Cassi Lockett. The ceremony will be held in the city council chambers in the basement of the community hall. Lockett, who lives on Cottonwood Butte near NICI with her husband and 3 young children, had the two latest escapees come into her home with just her and the children there, and faced them down at gunpoint. Her actions along with the timely arrival of a deputy at the end of her driveway saw the men leave without anyone getting harmed. |
