hold awards ceremony
The scouts have been working very hard since school got out. The cub scouts were recognized in a previous article. Their last activity before school starts will be the Idaho County Parade. They then will be working in the Webelos book and preparing themselves to be boy scouts in two years. Boy scouts are ending their summer with the parade. Some of the boys have been working on other merit badges that interest them, also working on personal goals to prepare themselves for Eagle. The boys have been talking about going on their first overnight Trek in the fall. Boy Scouts that received rank advancement are: Mike Karel Star rank, Seth Chaffee 1st Class, Frank Spencer 1st class, Matt Jungert 1st class, Drew Cochran 2nd and 1st class, Dakota Wilson 2nd class. Thank you to the parents and the community for all your support and prayers. Boy Scout motto is “Do a good turn daily” Cub Scout motto is “ Do your best” Their will be another awards ceremony for rank advancement this fall. Please come and help us encourage these young boys. Everyone is invited.
