DJ to work at Mardi Gras
Keith Havens has been in the world of radio and TV broadcasting for over 25 years.  Since 1983, he has been playing music from the 40’s through today.  He’ll be the DJ at the SMHC Mardi Gras on Saturday, February 6th at the Cottonwood Community Center .Keith Havens.
Havens appears on KLEW in Lewiston and has thousands of songs in his music library.  He says “I can keep people dancing for hours and all night long!”  His library includes rock and roll, classic rock, country, dance, swing and all around great party tunes.
“No Mardi Gras would be complete without dancing and music,” said Misty Johnson, SMHC Marti Gras planner.  “Since everyone has their own musical preferences we’ve hired a DJ with a huge amount of music to choose from.  He is happy to take requests so we’ll have a nice mixture of danceable tunes.”
The Mardi Gras planning committee is selling 250 advance tickets to this first annual event.  The $25/person or $45/couple tickets include a catered dinner and dinner entertainment.  Organizers are encouraging people to purchase their tickets early since there will be a limited number of advance tickets sold.  For those people who would like to come after 8:30 p.m. to the dancing and casino portion of the evening tickets will be sold at the door for $10.
Tickets can be reserved by calling 962-2327 or 962-8052.
