Ski Skoop
Mother Nature is definitely kicking spring into high gear with the arrival of robins and spring flowers.  Always unpredictable, several years ago at this time there was snow on the ground and blizzards still knocking on our doors.  Many skiers and boarders were taking advantage of the great skiing at Cottonwood Butte Ski Area.  This year however the Butte’s Board is turning their attention to planning for the replacement of the lodge roof this summer.  Non-profit ski hills like the Cottonwood Butte Ski Area which has been in existence for over forty years have learned to plan for years when Mother Nature doesn’t feel like cooperating.  In a normal year the hill generates enough income to cover the basic costs.  CBSA has always been able to count on time, money and material donations to help the hill run and to make improvements to the facilities and equipment.  The CBSA board wants to make sure that a big thank you goes out to everyone who has helped to make the Butte the best little ski hill around.
Thank You
The Board: Vic & Teresa Lustig, Tad & Bobbi Tidwell, Kurt & Loretta Riener, Kevin Schmidt, Tony & Kim Schumacher, Mike Vander Pas
