Audiences are invited to join in the fun of Festival Time and help Clara guess a mischievous little gnome's name this Friday, March 12 when the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) and over 50 local students perform RUMPELSTILTSKIN, an original musical adaptation of this classic tale.
The local cast features Anthony Karel as Rumpelstiltskin, Andreya Nelson and Natalie Williams as Clara, Candace Williams as Queen Beatrice, Drew Cochran as the King and Kayla Johnson as the Jester. Also featured are McKenzie Candalot, Danielle Cochran, Beth Dinning, Laurel Henry, Kylee Simmons, and Laura Spencer as Wizards, Sydney Bruner, Ellie Groves, Jordyn Higgins, Robert Remington, Caitlin Renne’, Sarah Ross, Peter Spencer, Tiffany Stinson, Hayden Uhlenkott, and Raven Yorke as Gnomes, and Whitney Sonnen and Betty Clark as Knights. To complete the ensemble, Britney Bianchi, Kendra Duclos, Haley Enneking, Bailie Gehring, Kate Lustig, Starr Marsh, Hope McIntire, Callie Perrin, Jacey Rambo, Courtney Renee’, Paul Sonnen, Sean Spencer, Kodie Tidwell, Julia Wemhoff, and Grace Zehr will appear as Villagers and Ciara Chaffee, Kyleigh Duclos, Anna Everson, Rachel Gimmeson, Dean Johnson, Halle Klapprich, Olivia Klapprich, Nicole Marsh, Abby Nopens, Josie Remacle, Kyle Schwartz, Madison Shears, Bailey Vanderwall, Brylee Wood, and Sapphire Yorke as the busy Bees. Morgan Butler, Cole Creutzberg, Laina Sonnen, and Kade Zenner have served as invaluable Assistant Directors throughout the week.
RUMPELSTILTSKIN will be presented at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm at Prairie High School Gym. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for Kindergarten through 8th Grade and are available at the door.
This week is part of the Missoula Children's Theatre's unique international touring project and is presented locally by The Prairie Booster Club and the Cottonwood Lions Club.
