Seventeen students had perfect 4.0 grade point averages for the third quarter of the 2009-10 school year at Prairie High School. They were Robin Krol, Dustin Schaeffer, NaTosha Schaeffer, Kyler Shumway and David Sigler in the senior class; Meaghan Bruner and Silas Whitley in the junior class; Samantha Keating, MaKayla Schaeffer, Ashley Shumway and Megan Sigler in the sophomore class and Logan Dahlen, Alex Duman, Tyler Latimer, Brianne Lockhart, Kaden Perrin, Tanna Schlader and Frank Spencer in the freshman class. Seniors earning high honors (3.5-3.99 grade point average) were Amber Frei, Andrew Gabica, Nichole Gimmeson, Kyle Holthaus, Tobie Lovell, Taylor Ratcliff, Derek Schaeffer, Joe Schumacher, Mary Shears, Wyatt Williams and Chaelena Wimer. Juniors on the high honors list were Seth Guyer, Brock Heath, Francesca Johnson, Kayla Johnson, Michael Karel, and D.J. Walker.
