Library re-opening is Thursday
Grand Re-opening for Prairie Community Library will be this Thursday, May 13 from 1:30pm to 5:00pm.  There will be door prizes and refreshments especially targeted for kids.  From 5:00pm to 7:00pm it will be Business After Hours for anyone who wishes to come.  There will be door prizes and refreshments during that time also.
Come and see all the work that has been done by many different people.  Terry and Jennifer Cochran, Virgil Wassmuth, and the prisoners from NICI all played a big part in the reconstruction. Ted and Gayle Schumacher donated a beautiful door.  Shelli Schumacher was our engineer and guide.  Carol Altman was always there to be helpful when needed.  There were many other volunteers who helped move books or anything else in the way.  It was a community effort and you should see the results!  It looks wonderful.  It will be an ongoing process, as we have had suggestions from the public which we intend to put in place.  But for now, the library will be open at the usual times.
We are asking you to please not donate any more books to the library until we get caught up on what we have now.  We will let you know when we are taking books again.
